ABOUT RIYAAZ PARKER

Riyaaz matriculated from Wynberg Boys High School
after which he was admitted to the Degree of LLB from
the University of the Western Cape. After working for
many years at some of South Africa’s largest law firms
decided to establish a law firm of his own.
His interest has always been in Commercial, Employment,
Sports Law, Dispute Resolution, litigation and Family
Law.
Riyaaz has experience in all aspects of Employment Law ;
which includes experience in drafting of employment
contracts, policies and procedures, furnishing advice on
restructuring and retrenchments , conducting employment
audits and due diligence exercises, appearing at the
CCMA, Bargaining Councils and Labour Court in Employment
law Disputes. Riyaaz further chaired many disciplinary
and incapacity enquiries.
Riyaaz is a member of SASLAW, which is an association of
experts in employments law. Riyaaz has successfully
negotiated exit packages for some high net worth
individuals. Riyaaz has further presented numerous
seminars on employments law and conducted case study
presentations on some of the latest cases emanating from
the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, Labour and Labour Appeal
Courts. |
Riyaaz has experience in general Corporate and Commercial Law
experience , which includes providing advise on the formation
and initial structure of new business entities, drafting memo
and articles off associations , drafting sale of business
agreements , drafting sale of share agreements, joint venture
agreements, partnership agreements and agency agreements.
Riyaaz has experience in Dispute Resolution and Litigation and
has been involved in property litigation, building disputes,
liquidation and sequestrations applications, application for
evictions, family law litigation including maintenance
enquiries, divorces, custody and access litigation.
